Rachel is an Associate at Route 66, where her focus is on venture capital investment opportunities. She works to build relationships with entrepreneurs tackling big ideas and is passionate about helping them drive innovation and disruption to improve the experience for consumers and businesses.
Prior to Route 66, she was a Project Leader at Dean and Company, a management consulting firm where she worked in the financial services, telecommunications/aerospace, and private equity sectors with a focus on M&A transaction support, capital raising, and commercial strategy.

Rachel brings her experience in business strategy and fundraising support to her work at Route 66. She has worked closely with management teams to use data to identify opportunities for their businesses and has been in the trenches with companies going through the fundraising process. She has seen firsthand the commitment required by entrepreneurs to balance fundraising needs with running the day-to-day of their business. She is excited to bring her grit and dedicated attitude to help Route 66 portfolio companies wherever possible.
When she’s not working, Rachel enjoys good food, traveling, and practicing yoga. She completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and teaches at a couple of studio and community classes around DC. Growing up in Alaska she developed an innate love of nature and continues to enjoy any activity that gets her outdoors.
